247 Nigerians arrive from Malaysia, Thailand

At least 247 Nigerians returned from Malaysia and Thailand on Saturday night.

The Head of Media and Public Relations Unit of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Gabriel Odu, who disclosed this in a statement issued on Sunday in Abuja, said the returnees arrived the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, at about 11:00 p.m. Saturday.

According to him, the returnees were brought into the country by a chartered Air Peace flight APK-7813.

He said: “Some of them disembarked in Abuja while others proceeded to Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.

“All the returnees tested negative for COVID-19 and are now on a 14-day self-isolation as mandated by NCDCgov, @Fmohnigeria, and PTF on #COVID-19.”
