Anxiety As 14 More Almajiri Children Test Positive For C0VID-19 In Kaduna As Cases Rise To 41

Recently, fourteen Almajiri children, who were deported

from Kano to Kaduna State have tested positive to the Coronavirus pandemic.

The Kaduna State government said this on Saturday in a

statement issued by the Special Adviser to the Kaduna State Governor on Media and Communication, Muyiwa Adekeye.

The statement added the new positive results have increased active cases in the state to 41, with one death recorded.

The government expressed concern that more positive cases might be discovered as more test results were being awaited.

“Further progress on expanding testing capacity is being made by the Kaduna state COVID-19 Standing Committee,” the statement said.
