Coronavirus: Sokoto govt discharges one COVID-19 patient

The Sokoto State Government, on Tuesday, discharged one COVID-19 patient.

The State Ministry for Health made this known in a tweet on its official Twitter page on Tuesday.

“#COVID19Sokoto: Update.

“1 more patient; male, was today discharged from our Isolation facility at infectious diseases hospital Amanawa to reunite with the society.”

“#staysafe #StayHome #Washyourhands,” it tweeted.

Meanwhile, Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State, on Monday, said 8 pm to 6 am curfew would be in place in the state as part of new measures to contain the spread of COVID-19 in the state.

Sokoto has so far recorded 66 cases of COVID-19 with eight deaths.
