Delta govt discharges two COVID-19 patients

Delta State government has announced the discharge of two COVID-19 patients.

The State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa in a tweet on Tuesday said with the development the State has only three active cases.

“It is my pleasure to announce the discharge of two of the five #COVID19 patients in our state.

“As we continue to monitor the recovery process of the other three active cases, I ask that you all continue to adhere to the precautionary measures and isolation directives we have put in place. Together, we will beat this.

“In this regard, I would like to thank the people of our great state for your understanding throughout this challenging period. With your cooperation and support, our lockdown measures have helped to limit the spread of this virus in our state.”
