Secretary General to the Federation, Mr. Boss Mustapha has stated that “until now he did not know that the Nigerian Health Sector is Extremely Poor”.
Mr. Mustapha also stated that “he had to face the harsh reality after being made the Chairman of the Presidential Taskforce on Coronavirus”.
He said “plans are currently being put in place for an immediate and long-term development of the health sector”.
Adding that “the Coronavirus outbreak has created an opportunity to reform and stabilize the sector”.
Furthermore, he urged the FG to deepen its oversight function by coming up with strategies that will make it easier to curb the spread of the virus in the country.
