Lagos announces discharge of 33 coronavirus patients

The Lagos State Government has announced the discharge of 33 coronavirus patients from the isolation facilities at Onikan and Eti-Osa in the state.

The announcement was made by the Lagos State Ministry of Health via its Twitter account on Monday.

The ministry stated that the patient – 9 females and 24 males were discharged after showing full recovery from the virus.

The tweet read “ 33 COVID19Lagos patients; 9 females & 24 males; all Nigerians have been discharged from our Isolation facilities at Onikan & Eti-Osa (LandMark) reunite with the society.

“The patients; 17 from Onikan and 16 from the Eti-Osa Isolation Centres have fully recovered & tested negative twice consecutively to COVID19.

“With this, the number of patients successfully managed & discharged in Lagos has risen to 502.

”Residents are advised to stay home and stay safe.”
