Lagos govt announces death of 3 coronavirus patients

The Lagos State Government has announced the death of three coronavirus patients in the state.

The Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi made the announcement in a tweet via his Twitter account on Sunday, while confirming that the state recorded 62 cases of coronavirus.

He said ” Three more COVID19 related deaths were recorded, bringing the total of such deaths in Lagos to 28.

“Stay safe and always mask up for a greater Lagos.”

Meanwhile, the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, on Saturday, confirmed 220 new cases of coronavirus disease in the country.

Nigeria now has 2,388 confirmed cases of COVID-19; 385 patients out of these have been discharged, while 85 deaths have been recorded.
