NCDC gives update on number of coronavirus tests conducted

The Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has disclosed that 21,208 COVID-19 tests have been conducted in Nigeria so far.

NCDC stated this in a tweet on its official Twitter page on Wednesday.

The tweet reads; “The COVID19Nigeria situation report for 5th May 2020 has been published.

“Our daily COVID19 situation reports provide a summary of the epidemiological situation & response activities in Nigeria.”

”Nigeria has recorded a total number of 2,950 confirmed cases, 98 deaths have been recorded and 481 patients have been discharged.”

Meanwhile, the Center on Tuesday confirmed 148 fresh COVID-19 cases in the country.
