NOA begs Nigerians to avoid social interactions to end COVID-19 community transmission

The plea was made by the state Director, Mr. Zubairu Galadima-Soba, on Wednesday while speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Kaduna.

“NOA is appealing to members of the public to be wary of the interactions they do within their neighbourhoods and in their daily activities.

“Transmission of COVID-19 has assumed a frightening proportion that we can say there is community transmission.

“We are appealing to everyone to be careful and to ensure that we use the safety tips given by health professionals.

“People should ensure they use face masks effectively; they should also use hand gloves and hand sanitizers,’’ Galadima-Soba said.

Galadima-Soba advised all residents to intensify personal hygiene by ensuring regular hand washing and other safety measures adding that, it would be better to take proactive measures and forestall transmission than go for management which was not easy for the people, health workers, and governments.

He further thanked the Kaduna State Government for opening temporary markets within communities to avoid crowding of central markets.
