Ogun govt confirms 5 new cases of coronavirus as toll rises to 2,802

The Ogun State government has confirmed 5 new cases of Coronavirus disease in the state.

The confirmation was made by the State Government in a tweet via its official Twitter handle on Tuesday.

The tweet reads, “COVID-19 update as at 11:45pm, 4th May 2020.

“5 new cases of COVID-19 Ogun cases confirmed.

“Total confirmed cases in Ogun are now 85.

“Total number of active cases -71.

“A total number of 12 patients have been discharged with 2 deaths recorded.

“Residents are advised to stay home and stay safe.”

Meanwhile, the State government on Tuesday refuted a viral video, making the rounds on social media with claims that a 25-year-old man died in the state’s isolation center.
