Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State has commiserated with Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, over the death of his mother, Hajiya Fatima Badami.

The mother, Hajiya Fatima Umar Badami, died at the Federal Medical Centre in Yola following a protracted illness.
Reacting, Governor Ortom in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Terver Akase, said the death of a loved one such as a mother can be quite painful and irreparable.
He encouraged Governor Fintiri to take solace in the fact that his mother lived a life worthy of emulation and has gone to rest with the Lord.
Ortom said Hajiya Fatima Badami will be remembered for her selfless service to humanity and the underprivileged in particular.
He, therefore, prayed that the deceased may have eternal rest and her family the strength to bear the loss.
