The Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, said on Monday the Federal Government had reduced the time travellers were expected to get to the airport.
Sirika, who disclosed this on his Twitter handle, said passengers on domestic flights were expected to arrive at the airport at least 90 minutes before their flight.

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) had last month advised passengers to arrive at airports at least three hours before flight time.
The minister wrote: “My colleagues and I have reviewed passenger facilitation at our airports. Consequently, I am happy to announce that, henceforth travellers are to arrive one hour and a half before their departure time for domestic flights. Travellers are advised to check-in online, please.”
