Former Senate President, Bukola Saraki has reacted to the death of Emir of Kaura-Namoda in Zamfara, Alhaji Ahmad Asha who died due to coronavirus complications.
Recall that the monarch died on Sunday after being isolated at the Yariman Bakura Specialist Hospital, Gusau.
The Emir’s blood sample was taken to Abuja for test, having been suspected of contracting COVID-19,
The test returned positive.
Reacting, Saraki on his Twitter page commiserated with the the Emir’s family and the Zamfara State governemnt.
“I offer my sincere condolences to the Government and people of Zamfara State over the passing away of the Emir of Kaura Namoda, Alhaji Mohammed Asha.
“He was a man who upheld the values of decency, honesty and integrity.
“He will be sorely missed,” he wrote.
